What is a plan? A plan, as defined by Wikipedia, is typically any procedure used to achieve an objective. It is a set of intended actions, through which one expects to achieve a goal.
Did you know that God has a plan? It is a plan for salvation and it is available for everyone. He has given us written instruction and direction in the form of the Bible to follow. To be successful, our plan should align with God’s Master plan.
What is God’s goal? The goal to be achieved is that none perish. God wants everyone’s name written in the Book of Life. So what does that have to do with us?
We all have been created for a purpose and part in God’s plan. No one else can fill in for us. At times we all veer off of the path and plan God has laid out for us. Some run from the plan God has for them. When we stray, He picks us up and puts us back on track.
What part do you play in God’s plan? Are you playing an active part or are you following your own plan? Is He pointing you back to the path He has laid out? Have you been following your own plan?
In this new year, we should check ourselves. We need to make sure we are on board with God’s plan and we have accepted the part He has chosen for us to play.
